GOODBYE BERLIN 2024

Plein-air painting performance
On Dezember 17 2024 towards the end of my half year resideny in Berlin, I set up my plein-air easel in front of the Neue Nationalgalerie to paint Isa Genzken’s Rose, which at that time had been deinstalled there some months before. The sculpture (Pink Rose, 2023) was on view for the Genzken exhibition 75/75 from 2023 until mid 2024.
